Workshop for Health Workers Next Wednesday

As health workers, our voices are essential to shaping the effectiveness of public health policy and the safety of our communities.

But using our voices isn't always easy or intuitive, and without the support of one another, it can be difficult to push back against gaps in public health that harm us and our patients.

If you're a health worker of any kind - from PSWs, nurses and physicians, to students in the health field, community and care workers - then join us next Wednesday, November 11th from 6-8pm EST for an online workshop where we'll be strategizing about how we can take a stand for better working conditions together.

To receive the zoom link, register for the event by clicking here. If you have friends or colleagues who are health workers interested in getting involved, please share the link with them as well.

With Dr. Tam’s new report calling for paid sick days amid a record-breaking rise in COVID-19 cases, now is the time to shed all excuses. Together, we can win paid sick days.

At the workshop, we’ll talk about powerful strategies that help mobilize us as a united movement of health workers for decent work. We'll hear from health workers who've been denied paid sick days and from long-time decent work advocates, and we'll get into action-planning groups where we'll have the opportunity to learn from and about each other and strategize together.

Hope to see you there!
