Tariffs and other moves by US President Donald Trump are causing a lot of fear. Economic shocks could mean patients lose their jobs, access to safe and stable housing, and unable to pay for nutritious foods. All of this will have downstream impacts on people's health.

Join us at the Emergency Town Hall to learn more about tariffs, their impact, and what action we can take to ensure our patients who work have essential protections regardless of their job or immigration status.

We’ll talk about what we need from all levels of government, including: adequate weekly income and better access to Employment Insurance; a moratorium on rent hike and evictions, a freeze on food prices, and an end to corporate profiteering.

Simultaneous interpretation in Bangla, French, Punjabi, Spanish, and Somali.

Organized by Workers Action Centre & Justice for Workers.
