Over 3,000 registered nurses, nurse practitioners, registered practical nurses, personal support workers and guest attendants, who are unionized with Ontario Nurses Association, are at bargaining table with for-profit corporate nursing homes.
Let's spread the word to our hospital colleagues to support long-term care workers and demand that for-profit nursing home CEOs put their profits towards resident care immediately! Demand that MPPs require them to spend public health-care funding on care.
We will be handing out leaflets and talking to supporters. Meet us at the south-east corner of College St & University Avenue.
Together we can change long-term care to prioritize #CareNotProfit.
