Health Workers Urge Immediate Action: Add Your Voice

We are sending a strong unified message about the urgent measures our patients need so that they can follow our medical and public health advice during the COVID-19 crisis.

The federal and all provincial governments must immediately:

1. Implement at least 7 permanent paid sick days and an additional 14 paid days during public health emergencies such as COVID-19

2. Increase access to Employment Insurance

3. Create an emergency fund that leaves no worker behind

4. Make it crystal clear that racism and xenophobia will not be tolerated
