I'm calling because my patients and I are still waiting for the 10 permanent paid sick days we were promised by your government through Bill C-3.

Frontline workers like myself, continue to face the deadly threat of COVID-19. My already difficult job is made so much harder when the government doesn’t implement policies that keep workers safe.

It is unacceptable to me as a [INSERT PROFESSION HERE] that after two years of a pandemic, federally regulated workers continue to wait for essential protections.

Similar to how health providers must prescribe a full course of medication to treat a condition, I am concerned that workers will receive a half dose of paid sick days if they must earn them through accrual. I implore you to fix this because research shows that paid sick days must be accessible, so they benefit all workers.
