Healthcare workers are fighting back on multiple fronts against this government's cruel and profit-driven decisions!

According to Doug Ford, the only solution to Ontario’s healthcare crisis is outsourcing publicly-funded healthcare services to privately-owned, for-profit clinics. But this is yet another excuse to use public dollars to subsidize corporate profit. The healthcare crisis itself is caused by the provincial government’s failure to ensure adequate staff and decent working conditions for workers.

Furthermore, the government has endangered the lives of countless uninsured residents in Ontario by cutting healthcare coverage for them this month.

In this important organizing meeting, we will discuss issues contributing to the healthcare crisis in Ontario, Doug Ford's recent cuts to healthcare for the uninsured, and how health workers can advocate for decent work solutions that address the root causes of the problem.
