Parents, teachers, health providers demand paid sick days for a #SafeSeptember

(TORONTO, ON) –  Health providers are joining with parents, teachers, and community members to hold a socially-distanced rally for paid sick days ahead of schools reopening. Without legislated paid sick days for all, not only will parents be unable to stay home with sick children, but many workers inside the education system will be pressured to work while sick -- from cleaners to school bus drivers, crossing guards, and occasional teachers.

WHAT: Parents, educators, and health providers will speak about the urgent need for paid sick days ahead of schools reopening
